MyView Review

Welcome to a MyView review! I joined MyView around 5 days ago. Their site is now one of my favorites since there are usually 2 surveys a day waiting for me with a decent payout rate AND that I qualify for. I've tried calculating how many points equal a dollar on there, and have noticed it really depends on which reward you select. But I've calculated $1 to be around 1350 to 1400 points. Which might sound like a lot. Except the average points earned per survey are 1000 to 1400, so it's not that bad.

A BIG con of MyView is that they only offer rewards as gift cards. No check or PayPal option. But, it's not so bad since there is an prepaid Visa reward, so it's not like you'll be stuck with a gift card you don't really need or can't use. Another bad thing about MyView is that there is no referral system, which makes reaching the amount needed to get a gift card a little more difficult, but not too much more.

Joining MyView is more difficult then other sites, since it it a closed recruitment site...meaning you can't just go to their site and sign up like you could any other site. But it is possible to sign up with them through other sites.

Overall, MyView is a fairly good site, though hard to get into. Personally, I enjoy their surveys and love how many of them I get a day. If you do end up signing up, remember that they do not send out survey invitations through email like other sites, so you'll have to check back frequently.

Edit(7/25/2010): Since writing this hub I have become increasingly agitated MyView. I am still nowhere close to cashing out for one of their gift certificates and I have also noticed a marked decrease in the amount of surveys I qualify for.

Edit(8/13/2010): MyView now has a referral programs. If you leave a comment I will gladly refer you through my email address.Also, amount of surveys received has gone back up and am very close to a gift certificate.
